You could use the search function to find out what other people have thought of the P900 after they have bought it.

my previous phone was a shitty nokia 7250, imho it was an average phone, when i got my new p900 it was leaps and bounds from the nokia. needless to say i give the p900 a 9 out of 10. less 1 for the price get one and you won't regret it!

I had an Ericsson T20, but wanted features like calendar, camera, mobile internet, games, pictures etc and so wanted something a bit more like a pda.
The P900 fits the bill, though I'd prefer a higher resolution camera - when they get to a minimum of 2 megapixel then I'll look again.

The P900 is easy to use, has a wide range of software, and has met my expectations (given the camera limitations).
OK, they're not cheap, but the software is there that I want and it fits my bill.

I'd also consider the latest Nokia and SE releases, but to me the P900 also has the best styling for my individual taste.

I have a few opinions.

The first thing I'd like to point out is that it's highly capable of performing advanced, complicated tasks. I expected a smartphone to do more than a phone, but I also underrestimated it terribly, thinking that the transition from a full-fledged handheld computer like the Tungsten T3 (which I owned prior to the P900) would be difficult. It hasn't. The P900 can do pretty much everything the T3 can, plus multitask. It's slower though, so perhaps you should compare it to the original Tungsten T, but it doesn't really show. The best thing is, naturally, that it's so tiny and yet som capable.

I had looked at the Treo 600 as well, but I abandoned the idea due to the small (and poor) screen and the lack of Bluetooth. Also, I was kind of tired of the Palm OS and felt like trying something else. The thumboard of the Treo 600 is great though!

The battery is great! I haven't drained it yet. Surely, it's a tad hard to do seeing as the phone is always in its cradle, but I have listened to music, played games, web-surfed and used it as a phone a whole day, and I got down to 61%. I'd say it can't get much better. I only got 2 hours use out of my Tungsten T3, under _extreme_ use that is. I'll try the same torture test on the P900 some day.

The downsides? Hm. It's a bit bulky for sure and there a few bad things about the software, but there's nothing I dislike that can't be fixed with future revisions of the firmware.
