The P8/900 is a smartphone, not the S700
If you need a smartphone, buy a p900, the S700 is not even close to his possibilty.
It's like asking what the best is between a computer and a typewriter ! lollll

the S700 seems like a phone with some very nice features but i dont think it can reach the p900 because the P900 is a smartphone unlike the S700.

actually it is a real dilemma within these phones... We have 2 choices, we can buy the both or wait SE to make p1500 with symbian and 2 mp camera

there's no dilemma here at all imo - one's the ultimate smartphone, and the other's the ultimate cameraphone. which one you choose depends entirely on what your own priorities are, and what you're going to use it for.
as P8 owner I'd choose the P9 over the S700 anyday, but that's because I need a smartphone that's at least as good as the one I've got - which the S700 can never replace.

The resolution is higher on the S700 (240*320 pixels versus the P800/900 208*320). Can't say whether the size is bigger though...
