hi all,
i got a SE P900 that was originally on orange but has been unlocked to work on all networks. I use it on T-mobile at the moment.
I am still an orange customer, but i bought my P900 from a third party.
so my question is would my P900 still be under warranty?
essentially, i would like to get my firmware upgraded but since i'm not having any luck doing in online, i thought i might have to take it to service centre.
if orange do decide to update the software, would they lock it again back on onrange?
thanks

Your p900 is still under the SonyEricsson warranty, as long as its no more than a year old, which it obviously wont be.
So take it to an SE service centre and they will probably upgrade it.

I think that in my country as soon as somebody unauthorised unlocks an originally locked phone it's no longer under waranty. I believe it goes for all the brands - SE, Siemens, Nokia,... But there's no hurt in trying.
