My Sony Ericsson T68i has fall into the water last week (for 12 ours!). After I removed the cover and cleaned everthing inside, the phone still works! (great phone SE! )

But, I think the antenna is broken because I hardly get a signal from my operator. So I have to order a new antenna...

But where? (I live in the Netherlands, but a shop who delivers worldwide is also fine)

I had the same problem! at first i thought it was the antenna as everthing worked fine apart from i could'nt get any reception.

In the end i took the phone apart and noticed that one of the chips on the main board of the phone had all this white crust on it and could'nt get it fixed as the insurance i had did'nt cover water damage

Maybe but your phone might not be as f**ked as mine was (but then again 12 hours in water???).

Have you noticed any crusty stuff around any of the chips inside?

When the phone fall into the water, I couln't find it. 12 ours later, I found it. I had opened the phone inmediatly and cleaned everything... maybe that saved him.

Also i discovered that SE hat put an iron with rubber cover around the important chips of the (back of the) phone... all those chips where still dry

But there was some shop which sold those items. Cellix Wireless or something?

Well, I send the phone to someone who has Sony Ericsson parts and who has equipment to test the phone and fix it.

Hope I will get the phone back, and then good working
