Does your bluetooth T610 + headset do this? Please could BT headset users give me some informed answers as there's no joy to be had had with SE in South Africa.

My T610 continuously disconnects from the BT headset, reporting "Bluetooth connection lost". After the firmware on the mobile was upgraded, I no longer get this message, but if anything, the mobile disconnects even more quickly from the headset after they've connected.

Please note the pairing is *not* lost, but the two devices are no longer talking to each via bluetooth. I have to reconnect from the headset (or mobile) before incoming and outgoing calls will transfer to the headset. Then the handset disconnects from the headset about 30 sec afterwards. This behaviour is driving me crazy!

1. The mobile has been doing this since day 1.
2. The headset has been swopped out with a brand new unit, including charger and battery.
3. The pairing has been deleted and the devices repaired, before and after the firmware upgrade on the mobile.

Does YOUR T610 do this? Is this NORMAL??

Mobile connecting to headset:

Mobile successfully connected and working with headset:

About 30 seconds later, mobile has lost headet again:

The mobile is a SE T610 [firmware R4C003, the "latest"]
The headset is a Plantronics M3000.

I'm interested in anyone using the same model headset with a T610, but please also post your experience with other BT headsets.

Yes. Have got a T610 with latest firmware and 2 T630's also with latest firmware that this happens on. I use a HBH-65 bluetooth headset.
This is also being mentioned on the thread titled:-

hbh 65 is good

Try resetting the headset and delete the headset from your phone. Then do the pairing process again.

Hi Staz081277,

Yeah, I saw that thread too, there didn't seem to be any conclusive replies. I'm still trying to work out if this is a problem, or a so-called "power-saving" design feature. Either way, how to stop it from happening.

Do you find that by the time the headset has reconnected with the phone that it's easy to miss the incoming call? If I don't get to the headset immediately when the mobile starts ringing, the caller has hang up or gone to voicemail by the time the headset is reconnected.

Is the bluetooth mode on your phone switched on? Or is it set to automatic? It should be on if you want to initiate a bluetooth connection with the headset. This message was posted from a T610

I'm using a SE T610 and a SE HBH-60 and they work excellent together. I haven't experienced any problems with them whatsoever.
