This is an interesting use of a USB Drive.
Smart Surfer is a keychain-sized storage USB drive that, when plugged into the USB port of a computer, allows users to surf the Web with totally privacy. Using the customized Web browser that comes preloaded on the StealthSurfer drive, all cookies, cached files and other downloaded images are stored privately on this removable device. Once the user is done, the StealthSurfer is removed and goes with them – ensuring complete privacy of Internet habits.

Would be interested to try the software that is not on the PQIs though its not going to stop a proxy server logging your activity is it!
