> Pictures taken by SO505is?

I got interested in the upcoming S700, specialy because of its 1.3 mp camera.. I was wondering, did anyone come across an actual picture which was taken by the SO505iS? If anyone did, please share with us. This way we'd know what to expect from teh S700, if it wasn't so great, we wouldn't wait till Q4, and just get the K700 when it's out

Thanks for the picture....... Yeah I've seen pictures taken by 1.3 MP digital cameras..... But I still wonder if the SO505iS's built-in camera would be of the same quality or not.... Phone cameras tend to have lots of distorrtion and what not......

Well, he has a point: 2 diff'rent digital camera with the same amount of pixels can take 2 diff'rent pictures regarding the quality.I've seen some 1.3mb pictures and they were awful ..i hope the camera inside the s700 is good.Now don't get ur hopes too high, i've seens ome pics takes at cebit and i am not TOO impressed with 'em but the phone's not out yet so...

That's exactly why I want to see samples of the SO505iS's pictures. From what I read, there was only one working S700, and had many bugs, so I don't want to judge the phone based on that. The SO505iS on the other hand has been available for quite some time already..
I tried searching the net for SO505iS reviews.... but all I got was either news about the phone's release, or Japanese pages which I couldn't browse (for obvious reasons). There were a few english speakers who had this phone however (don't know from where though), and I was hoping that they have posted pictures from their phone somewhere.....

I was visiting Tokyo early this year and got to borrow one of those phones from my company. I donīt have the pictures in this PC but I will see if I can post some of them here when I get back home. I would say that pictures taken by for exampel the Sony cubershot (smallest one) with 1,3 megapixel looks better, sharper than the ones taken by the phone.

If we can see your pictures, we can actually know exactly how good/bad they are compared to other VGA camera phones and 1.3 mp digital cameras...
