Hi there, hope somebody can help with this!
I upgraded to a p900 and decided to unlock my orange p800 (R2F) so my mum can use it on O2.
Orange told me they would give me the NCK code for £20, but recommended i just take it to a local phone shop and get them to do it, as it would take less time. The local shops told me it would cost £25 for them to do it for me, so i figured i would try and get it done cheaper by doing it myself.... big mistake!
So i got a T28 service cable off ebay for £12.50 (i've since found out you can get them direct from
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk for the same price, but anyway...)
I then purchased a log from the guys at
http://www.globalmob.com ($10)
I got my codes (CCK, NCK, NSCK and SPCK) without too much problem, but when i switched the phone back on it showed all the locks were now active - before it was just the "network" icon which was locked.
After contacting the guys at globalmob (who are very helpful, btw) they gave me another log to try on their "Sony Ericsson Gold Remote Log Client V2.92" which unlocks and repairs the new versions of p800.
It repaired the GDFS and reset all codes (except IMEI) to 0000000
Now when i try to get into the "SIM-ME depersonalize" menu by going jog-down * * jog-down it comes up with the error message "ME depersonalized" and won't let me enter the codes.
Any ideas what should i do?
