The appeal judges said mobile phone pictures could be misused
In one of the few cases of someone getting busted for using a cameraphone for taking non-lewd photos, a man in England has been sentenced to a year in prison for snapping pictures in court with his cellphone.

In the USA have something called the 'cruel and unusual' clause regarding punishment in our Constitution...

The 4 sports centers that I work at all have a mobile phone ban. Doesent matter if it has a camera or not.

But on the other hand had the same happened in a country like Saudi Arabia, the sentence would probably be a 100 years or something!!!
