Beware of 'My Symbian.com' Anybody else had problems with 'My Symbian.com’? Had to get a replacement P900 but it would seem that if you bought software that uses an IEMI number as part of the registration set up. They are less than willing to forward a new registration code so you can use their software on your replacement phone. They state that they will reply within 48 hours but so far I have contacted they 7 time with no reply yet. Not even a courtesy response to say they will or won’t help. VERY POOR customer service!!

if youve had you phone replaed under warrenty and can prove it, they should give you your software back and new codes for what you have purchased. get se to give you a proof of replacement. This message was posted from a P900

I don't think this behaviour is unique to my-symbian.

I'm sure many resellers are very cautious about people requesting codes for their "replacement phones" or when people upgrade from P800 to P900, and there have been stories on Esato recently regarding this issue with Handango

the problem here though does seem to be lack of return communication rather than them being unwilling to issue the new codes so just be persistant or raise the issue in a thread in a forum over there which will probably get you a better response than here.

Sorry to hear about your problem though m8. It's not fair that they won't help

Nice to see the sense is in Lancashire eh mate.
I was expecting someone to come back with all the support the developer stuff but as we see here there's no support for the consumer either.
