sorry! i havent before but why the in the world are you doing it yourself! have u had the p800 for under a year cos it might be under warranty. Trust me, get it fixed professionally, or alternatively

this is also a bump so anyone that has may see this.

Tap it very gently in the middle of the screen with a small hammer.

I agree, leave it for the experts.

i fixed some cellulars before most nokia
i have the right tools
i hope its just the connection that has come loose
otherwise i have to send it to sony with a 190euro cost to fixt it
so if its the connection ===> put it back in and ok
if not send it to sony and no harm done because the 190 fee is the price for every repair
see the point

4 screws, then two clips either side of the memory stick slot. Just unclip em and pull it apart.

You have a P800???

And the keypad does not work?

Does the screen work with the stylus?

Are the tabs on side of the keypad still connected?

More information please before ripping your P800 apart!

What do you mean that your connection from your screen is loose? I dont think you can fix the screen if it's loose. You would have to change the whole screen. Maybe your screen needs calibration. You can do t from the control panel.

I have worked with opening the P800 many times, if you have any questions, just pm me, you won't void your warranty, cos no one can even see if you have opened it. There is a little connector that connects your screen to the motherboard. once you have taken all the screws out, just pull it softly open at the bottom and then get a small flat object to open it near the sides...
