Im new in this forum and I have searched but I havent find an answer for my question yet. So I decided to start a new thread.
I have a t610 and I have read somewhere that u can use your mobile as a Tv remote. Is this possible with the t610, whats the name of the program and how do i install it?

why not just use the normal tv remote???
i am sure it woudnt be too much hassle or are you just like me and get things just because they are available!!! (like hell u use opera 7 on my p800 but i got it anyway

It's not possible on the T610 because the IR signal is too weak. You would have to be stood literally right next to the TV in order to get it to work!
Also, I don't think that you can access the T610's IR port via java, which is what such an application would be writen in. Mophun can access the IR port, but the Mophun platform is strictly for games. It might be possible to write a TV remote application in Mophun, but I really don't think anyone will bother trying.

just a thougt, even if it involves $$$... i believe its possible to control the computer, and if you have a tvcard (tv-in that is) and then a do a tvout to the tv.. that way i believe it would be possible to use the phone, via the puter, as a remote control.
