I've installed Agile messenger and it runs just fine. I log into my account and can chat with all my contacts. What I would really like is to be able to just leave it running so that if a contact wants to chat with me, they just buzz in and the conversation starts BUT i noticed that if I leave the program running (over GPRS), after a certain period of inactivity, my GPRS connection shuts down.

Do you know if there is a way to prevent this? Is this some GPRS setting or phone setting I can modify?

Thanks.

Control Panel >> Connections (tab) >> Internet Accounts >> Other (tab) >> GPRS Timeout

Be careful though - this will eat your battery faster than you might be used to.

Thanks, I'll enable the never drop GPRS feature only when I need that type of feature.
