With all the different accessories SE makes, and all the different kinds of BT headsets... I'm surprised they haven't made a waterproof headset yet. This would come in handy during bad weather... or if you just like watersports, jetskiing, sailing, etc... you can keep your phone in a dry box and still receive calls.

The last sports phone they made was the Ericsson R310, and it's getting kinda dated... not to mention the menu is still hella slow.

Either come up with a new sports phone like the one Siemens has, or a sports BT headset!

I agree, it would be a very good idea for S.E to make their bluetooth headsets weatherproof.
However me being in Perth, Australia it isnt much of a problem here for the majority of the year, only 3 or 4 months of bad weather .

I have made my old alcatel waterproof. I bought one of those wearable covers. With silicon i closed all holes and left a handsfree going out of silicon. Then i took apart the handsfree. I insulated with hot glue all the contacts. At mic and earpiece. I also put outside a cable with a water proof socket for charging. Phone fully functional. Sms, calls and gprs. Nice. Soon a pick This message was posted from a T610

i think if its for a sport, it should be a combo waterproof phone and waterproof BT headset. right?

if your thinking about rainy days, rainy days, rainy days or heating up the sprinkler in your office to simulate a rainy day... a waterproof headset indeed...

It would have more practical applications than surfing. In some places we're not ar fortunate as perth(nice place jaymofish) and get rain non stop. I'd love another armoured phone, i was an R310 owner. This message was posted from a T610
