I did cause it's just simply smaller in size and not that much difference when you use your handsfree.

i don't really use oggs cos i keep all my music in mp3 format and when you convert from the latter oggs are hardly any smaller than the orginal files. I would convert to ogg if the original was wav, that's why i use unrea player - it can play both

Since the P800/900 is limited to a 128MB MS Duo, then its Oggs all the way for me, at similar quality the oggs are a lot smaller, I can squeeze a lot more onto the MS Duo.

I like ogg a lot and use oggplay almost every day. Though I notice that it drains the battery even though people say it doesn't drain that much. I lost most of my battery on a 5 hour traintrip. Had to close oggplay after about 3 hours just to have battery left when I got to my destination, this was a fully charged battery. Otherwise I get 3 days of normal usage.

Everyone says that ogg files are small compared to mp3. Could anyone confirm whats the difference in size? or what is the ratio of compression? I never used ogg but would like to try it though.

What software is the best in converting mp3 to ogg?
