Hi,

My mate recently upgraded his from so has a P800 spare... he was going to put it on ebay but i said i would be intersted in it..

He said about £80-£85 ...

what do you think, its about a year old now and assume it comes with everything and is in pretty good condition..

any reason not to get it ?

and please don't say cos the P900 is soo much better, cos that's just way too expensive for me... as my average phone bill is under £15 i never get a chance to get a decent phone.

What do you think ?

Cheers

Sounds like a good price, if hes a genuine mate then I wouldnt pass it up. But do you actually want a smart phone? If you just want a phone for making calls and txting, go for somthing more "normal" like a t610. Or dare I say it? A n*kia.

The px00 is in a way a PDA with a phone attached, if your going to use many of the pda type functions then go for it. Otherwise you will likely find it slower to use and more bulky than you need.

Hope that helps.

I'd buy it. If you end up not liking it and not needing it, you can always put it on ebay yourself and make a bit of a profit

At that price you would be foolish not to buy it even if you dont need a smartphone

You will have a phone a music player and a video player all for under £100 you will soon find yourself using it more than you think you would now

Agree with MiXin there.

Buy it, use it, abuse it, then sell it. You'll still get your money back for it

thanks for the advice, will text him now and say 'OH YES'

don't know too much about them though will have to do a LOAD of research on these boards..

i had a T610 about a year ago but it got nicked

obviously an impossible question to answer in full but what umm say does your P800 do that most other phones can't do such as my aging T68 for example... as top of my head includes:

camera
touch screen
watch films ?
listen to mp3's
take notes ?

can't think of much else really.. and when i spoke to him he wasn't to bothered about the 'stuff' either...

more or less yeah. But then you got the whole surfing the real internet, installing your own proggies on it... does quite a lot more
