Does anyone know if it is possible to put a P900 facia on a P800? I've searched for it but couldnt find anything...

Strange. I held my P900 and P800 up side by side, in all dimensions and from what I could see, everything seemed to line up exactly.
The camera and the external antenna ports, and even the screws line up. Jog dials are the same, as well as headphone port. The camera/internet buttons are in the same place, as is the memory stick slot (although it is reversed - i.e. the actual slot is flipped upside-down. Even the infra-red port, power button and charger block are the same...
The only thing, that I can see, would be a problem, is the flip open/close switch under the hinge.
If you ask my opinion, with some careful light modification, it should be do-able!

hows the keypad gonna work? the p900 keypad is digital so it dosnt haev them nobbly bits to touch the screen and a p800 keypad on a p900 would just look...well lets say strange?

is it though? remember there's a lot of empty space behind the battery cover on the P8, and none on the P9. the internals of the two phones must be very close to identical.

This is precisely my point.
I bet if you took the two apart, and simply looked ay the boards, I'd be pretty sure when i say that they'd have identical dimensions and would only vary in very few places...but all of the major components that interact with the shell would be in the same places.
