Since this question was posted in the P800/P900 forum, l will be completely silly and assume it is in reference to one or botn of those phones.
I have never heard of any application that allows a zoom function. I can imagine that being very popular if someone does release an application that can do that.

cameraFX has a zoom function as far as i remember... I used to have it on my 7650 and it wasn't half bad... I saw it on a friends p800 the other day and it looked identical to the nokia version. So i am assuming that it also has the same effects! i think its available form handango and/or the official se site?

The camera quality isn't too good on a moby anyway so any digital zoom must surely make it even worse?....

a few digital zooms then all you would be seeing are pixels, not worth it with our vga cams.

well on my 7650 it really was quite impressive and i do consider the p900 to have a better camera! So... I wont be seeing my friend until the weekend but i will report back once i have tried the software for myself... maybe post a couple of pics.

get photofusion. much better than camera FX and it has alot of other cool features like panaramic pictures. you can also adjust for lighting.

@scotsboyuk

photofusion has good zoom

although I highly recommend, when you intend to edit your pictures through p.c. software app, never zoom - instead CROP the pics through the app

you will have much better results

Actually, the different image size settings work as a zoom feature all together. It crops the image, which is precisely what digital zoom does. The only thing with the P900 is that the viewfinder doesn't "get closer" to the object in question when a smaller image size is selected, contrary to e.g. the T610.
