Has anyone in the UK got there phone upgraded at CPW yet?

have just left my fone at carphone warehouse for the software upgrade to the t68i the carefone ware is in leeds and its the branch on harrogate road, i will b going back later this evening to pick up the fone, also were u guys aware that carphone warehouse r only doing the upgrade for the those people who purchased the T68 from them, i will let u guys know when i have the update

I rang up a few carphone warehouse stores they don't seem to be doing it, how come stores in Leeds can do it but not the rest of them?

I spoke to the CPW place in Leicester yesterday and they confirmed that they had downloaded the upgrade - but they are testng it first for 2 days and then if its good, theyll release it into the wild!!
I was aksed to call back after this time when they know better. Will call them tomorrow and find out more. Im not in a rush to get it done anyway.

Rang up the Ericsson support number, they said that carphone warehouse aren't officially service points any more and that I would have to go to any where but there.
They recommended that I went to Intercity Mobile instead.

The upgrade can be done at Carphone Warehouse Repair Centres, but not their retail outlets.
I phoned up their Repair Centre on Great Chapel Street (Near Oxford Street, London) and they said they didn't have it yet. They may be 'testing it' like a previous poster said.
