> My T39 loses ear volume setting

When I make a call the earpiece volume always reverts to 1 even if I have earlier set it to 7 or 8. This is so annoying! What gives?

now i know why! i surf with my palm and have set the volume (prefs -> connection) to low and this causes the phone's volume to be set to 1. i didn't know that a setting on the palm could change the volume setting on the phone!
