A friend told me that he brought his T610 from Europe, well someone brought it to him (but maybe he's chit-chatting); but if he's right, is there any difference to Europe mobile phones and North America or America mobile phones?

well diff. bands means you can't use the fone in other countries for roaming, although your provider has 'international' roaming
