Hi,
What is Unlocking a phone and what is it good for?

Lol, if you dont find the answer:
When you buy a phone (mainly on contract) the phone will be locked so you can only use a sim card on the network as it is locked to, on the phone. So if it is locked on vodafone, you will only be able to use vodafone sims in it.
When you unlock a phone, then locks to other sims being put in are open, so you can put any operator's sim card in it.
