> Connecting P900 to Phone Switchboard?
Bookmark topic
Hi Guys;
Quite new to the P900, and love the forums here. One question though....
I teach in a college in the UK, and was wondering if there is anyway to connect my P900 to the switchboard so that other members of staff can get hold of me as if I was on a physical extensions??
I don't know if this is possible, but would certainly be useful!!
Hope someone can advise me wither way!!!
Cheers
Stuart

Answer: Yes. But it would likely be cheaper to have the staff call you externally. Ericsson do this PBX
http://www.ericsson.com/enterprise/products/md110.shtml which the P900 is designed to workwith - see page 50 of your phones manual. (Downalodable in the supportsection of sonyericsson.com).
I also spotted this:
http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=110634&asource=107853
Which i doubt would be helpful in the wide area of a school but worth noteing.

Right; thank you, I'll have to look into the PBX. Unfortunately the Bluetooth device would not have a large enough range.
Thanks for your help!!
