i just saw that there is a new app for some nokia phones that is supposed to improve the built-in camera's resolution to 1.2 mp. the address is http://www.photoacute.com. I emailed them and asked them to port this to P900. maybe if they have enough interest it could happen, so email them. any improvements to the camera would be great.

You may also call this interpolation. Yes. It is interpolation. It creates big size image but the picture blurs a little. Also details are lost. Its good only for printing on low quality paper and low printer resolution. Chees! This message was posted from a T610

i wonder how quick it can take a picture and save the pic before you can take a new one. i cant imagine ti being verry fast if it has to start stitching photos together.

Thats why there is no good quality. Especially at moving things. This message was posted from a T610

your right. it does not look like you would be able to take high quality shots of moving things.

"How does it work?

PhotoAcute makes several snapshots in series, thus acquiring more graphic information. Using sophisticated, proprietary algorithms it combines the individual snapshots to produce one large-sized and high-quality image. It also performs image processing to make it sharper and remove defects. Using the state-of-art algorithms allows achieving great increase in quality."

i would imagine you would have to have a very steady hand otherwise it would be a big blur.
