I think this has been discussed before, but here's a quote from my-symbian (http://my-symbian.com/uiq/intro_p900.php):
Quote:File Manager provides access to the user part of the file system. System folder is hidden and can't be accessed. P900 still uses the MMFH (multimedia handling) file system as the P800. However, the File Manager application allows the user to access files stored outside of P900's MMFH system ("External - Other"). You can use it to move image files stored by a digital camera in its custom folder. It is also possible to export pictures directly to DCIM directory from which they can be accessed by other electronic devices using Memory stick cards as storage media.

Re MSSEMC I can see the folder in the SE File Manager but it does not seem to have a sub directory called P series? I have tried looking using SMAN file manager and that does not even see MSSEMC i have audio filoes and pictures and docs on the card and can see them fine is there a fault?

Is there anyone with a simple explanation about?
Again if you put files in this directory, do they fake space on the internal drive or where.

prehaps MSSEMS is for K750i phone all kinda of data storage. DCIF is mainly for digital camera storage.

i tried to put the MS Duo Pro into a P910i and after i take it out. i connect it back to a K750i and view the MS Duo Pro with my computer. i found out that the Ms Duo Pro have an extra folder called "P910i".

maybe it program to allow different system to reconigze different storage area without disturbing each others
