I got a Brando screen protector today, and well, Don't bother with them. They are far too much hassle to bother with. If you screen will get scratched, it will get scratched.

Brando -
They say they can be cleaned - really?!!!

How do you clean the adesive side - you can't! No matter how clean your cleaning cloth is, it will always leave some residue on the sticky part.. which is very difficult to remove because of the fine hairs - I have LCD cleaning clothes, the shipped SE cleaning cloth - all leave fine hairs on the sticky part.

If you can't clean the thing, then there is no point, because as soon as you get dirt on the inside, you may well as throw it away, because you won't get it clean again!

Save your money.

Frustrated!

Sorry man but i cant let you spread false rumours,You must use your brain to clean the protector,I can tell you the way...Its so easy really just buy some sticky paper tape i dont know how you people call it in english but its a paper sticky tape,if you stick the tape under the brando protector you easily get rid of the small hairs.

brando dont use static it uses some kind of glue,i know because i have them on my phone and because before i use the sticky tape to remove small hairs,i wash about 3-4 time the protector and the glue is visible in some places now.

I have got the Brando protector on ... after the frustration. There is some hairs underneath on the sticky side - but not very visible when the phone is on.
I got rid of them by using an air spray.

I assume having these elements on the sticky side will not damage the screen?

The quality of the display through the brando is pretty damned good - after reading these forums, I expected it to be alot dimmer than I thought it would be...

Thanks.

I have used both Brando and MFOP.

Brando is not that difficult to use, you just need to be careful and use cellotape to remove any dust etc on the sticky side (you can wash in water as well). I prefer MFOP as it has greater transparency. Also I would never never use an expensive device like a P900 or a Moto A920 without a screen protector. Replacement screens cost about $180.

i clean and put back on brando stuff like this (and no bubbles at all)..

i wash the protector with water..
then i put the wet protector on the screen (not 2 wet so the water doesnt go behind the screen)
then i use some peace of towel, and pust the protector hard that water comes out of the screen and there are no bubbles and the screen looks perfect..

used that tehnique on palm several years ago still works for me...
