i haven't done it, but i believe it is posible.
i've located the video files that the p800 uses for its start up, shut down and error screens. but then i played them back on my pc, they were back to front and rotated to the side. the actual image had been flipped and rotated. so judging from this, i think you'd need to flip your video so it is back to front, so that when it plays on the phone is looks normal.
also, i'm not sure if they need to be the same lenth as the original video.
someone was saying how the p800 could play fullscreen video on start up and shut down, so it would be theoreticly posible to load a full screen rip of an episode or something onto the phone, and when u wanted to watch it, you just turn off the phone. but that presents many problems. 1. it would have to fit on the internal memory. 2. you wouldn't be able to recieve calls. 3. if you needed to turn off or restart your phone, you would have to wait for the entire movie to play (unless holding the power button for 10secs i guess).
but anyway, thats not what you are asking.
don't go off what i am saying coz i'm not entirely sure. wait for someone to confirm it. if it needs to be flipped and rotated and if the length needs to be the same.
i've forgotten where the videos are kept atm, but i'm sure someone can help you with that. just have a search around, they are called Startup.mp4 (111KB), Shutdown.mp4 (100KB) and Boom.mp4 (18.3KB)
