I dropped my Z600 off in a shop in Glasgow on Friday afternoon to get the firmware upgraded, and they gave me my sim card so i could still make/receive calls and texts. Since I was working that night and all day yesterday, i've only just put the card into my T610 and realised no phone numbers are stored on it at all (and the last synchronization I done with my PC to download the phone book was before christmas). I was wondering if all my numbers will definetly be wiped off the phone during the upgrade, and just hope that the engineer backed them up beforehand?

I don't think they'll backup your numbers I'm afraid. However, when I upgraded from R1A to R3C no information was lost (so keep your fingers crossed )

I'll just need to hope for the best then as I pick the phone up from them tomorrow. Thanks

Well, that's me just got it back (didn't have time to pick it up yesterday) and i'm pleased to say that the firware is now R5B001 and everything is still intact, including my Rebekah Teasdale theme, which is really the only thing I was worried about
