is it possible to browse the pictures folder with the flip closed?
cant seem to be able to do that.

Yes there is. On flip closed mode, create new mms message then add picture. Now you can browse all your pictures including folders. The same with viewing movies (p900 only). Create mms message then add video then play. (only plays .3gp videos).

Yep....
It was one of my main grudges with the P8; that there were a load of things that couldn't be done/accessed with flip closed. It's been improved on the P9 a little, but not completely.
