May 17th is Norway's natinal day!
Today we all put on our best suits outfits or ntional costumes. We have parades in the streets, everyone carries a Norwegian flag and greet evrybody we meet with a HURRA!
Most importan is the fact tht all the kids get to eat as much ice cream as they want!
To all Norwegians out there I'd like to say:
HURRA! HURRA!! HURRA!!!

An important point of the Norwegian constitution day celebrating is that there are no military parades etc. The day is primary for the children and their families. The children parade! This is quite seldom in the world, and the envy of our Nordic neighbours.
Another point is that we do it without being nationalistic. If that is possible when celebrating our day.
