Hi
My P900 has been crashing or turning itself off randomly for the last week or so. The only additional app I have installed is Handy Day 2004.
Initially I thought it was to do with the battery power as it happened more frequently when it was low, however it also happens when almost fully charged.
I regularly shut down running apps through the Handy Day easy menu so it can't be that I'm running too many things. And the strange this is it's happened a few times when I've dropped it on a table top (only from a height of half an inch or so) and once when I tapped the screen quite hard with my finder to close a reminder - which has lead me to think it could be a lose battery?!
Has anyone else experienced something similar, or got any suggestions?
Many thanks

Sounds like something isnt connecting properly, take it to a SE service centre or sent it back to SE, either way it should be coverd by waranty.

This is sort of off topic, but my Texas Instruments TI-89 calculator would do that, its a hardware falut for sure. In my calc, the battery holder's contacts were loose or something .

I think Sony Ericsson has serious quality issues, I have a p900, that just hit its yr mark, and it’s losing its life, seems like they make the phone to live exactly until the warranty expires or shortly before that if ur lucky, in my case I was lucky, but I was in the wrong place at the right time. (I bought it from duty free in Dubai. I live in Sweden).

Speaker does not work (have to talk through Bluetooth), P900 doesn’t connect with the computer whatsoever, crashes on demand, and the battery charges only when the phone is switched off. I tried everything, from master reset, to format, yet nothing works. I contacted SE they said take it to where u originally bought it from.

I am dumping Ericsson and switching to Nokia 9300 even though I been with Ericsson since the Gh 337, 338, 668, 888, R380, T39, T610, and p900. The p900 was the illegitimate child of Sony and Ericsson, and there service and support sucks now. If Nokia has similar warranty issues please advice.
