What shortcomings do you think plagues SE? What will be needed to be done to make it a better company?

time between intoduction and lauch. also better timing. enough new phones on the market before Xmas (just an example).
bluetooth in mid level phones
a solar pannel accesoire
better designing like T610, T68m, P900.

The product they have are good (make no mistake, I am an S//E fan) - but they take to long to hit the market and their range of products is to small. They miss out on several segments because of it.
Like for instance - the N6230 has been available for what 2 months now ? and the K700 is not out yet - thats a mistake. And a "K700 or whatever with memoryslot" has not even been officialy announced yet.
The Z200 - nice phone with shortcomings - should have had a bigger brother like a Z300 without the shortcomings. The T230 - also a nice phone - but again not quite there (screen and memory is lacking compared to competition), I would rather have seen a T330 by now to complement the T230. S700 is looking great but again - release perhaps by christmas ? by that time it propably isnt quite as great as it looks today cause several other megapixel phones will either be available or very close.
In short they need to kick things into a higher gear

I agree it takes them quite a bit of time to release products ( anyone say Z1010 ? ) but face it, good things come to those who wait.
We could go on forever thinking up points for SE to improve upon, but my favourite is please SE, give us Duo PRO stick support, and lower the prices of high capacity duo's to a more affordable price..
Who wants to pay for a duo stick thats worth more than the phone its going to be used in ?

SE's smaller Product range is a good thing in some ways as it makes the product feel more exclusive, unlike a nokia which has a huge range of phones meaning that they are quite common. With an SE you can tell what phone it is. With a nokia is it a 3310 or a 3330? A 7210 or a 7210i or a 7250? They just make little improvments to the phone whereas SE change the design of the phone, take the t610/t630, it is instantly reconisgned as a different phone, this takes time, but it is worth waiting for.
Like said good things come to those who wait.

T230 is a good idea, but the succesor T330 won't be lauched. they'll just make the T610 replace it.
K700 will be a mid level phones.
a new sort of F700 or T650 will be the real new SE killer phone.
but SE is very carrefull, to carrefull. hopefully the new president will chose for a more agressive strategy.

Errmm excuse me but most of the nokia phones under £150 only have 4 096 colour screens and quite a few dont have cameras. The only improvements SE should have made to thrash nokias ass it put a radio on it n possably a built in camera.
