Are there any rumours of what OS SE will choose for their next phone in the P900 line?

These nice "phones" need software to make them tick, and I would like to know if my investment in software for the P900 can be used in the next generation also.

Some vendors with different OS versions of their software have really nice license programs that lets us change from one to another for a minumal fee. Other verndors turn their back on us.

What's your experience in this area? What vendors should we endorse and who should WE turn our backs to? -or do we have *any* influence on which OS SE chooses?

Symbian 8 has been distributed to licensees earlier this year.

I hope Nokia and Symbian - UIQ - start to make Series 60, 90 etc and UIQ compatible. This fragmentation of Symbian sucks.
