my computer wont recognise my phone, even though its properly attached to the cradle.

the green light comes on on the docking station when i connect my phone, but when i click on the MyP900 icon on my desktop it says phone not connected.

ive tried taking out the memory stick, turning phone off etc, but no joy.

HELP me please somebody!!!??

where do i find the latest versions of the PC Suite and Synch drivers?

do you honestly think this could be the reason for my P900 to suddenly stop connecting to my PC after months of trouble-free connections?

i tried all the tips that i found on the search, and i actually got it to connect last night, but once i rebooted my PC it again comes up as 'phone not connnected'. tried all the tips again and it still doesnt work!

yes, i am going to try a system restore.

how do i do it? is it in Control Panel? ive never done it before?

it was working fine til i installed Norton 2004!!

(alternatively, is there something i can select on Norton that will allow my P900 to connect, which will save me restoring?)

I am suffering from the same problem as well. Kind of given up cuz there is so much I will end up losing if I do a system restore. There has to be another way to get round this stupid problem. What's more interesting in my case is that the phone connection link icon in the taskbar besides the clock says that the phone is connected but when I double click on the P900 icon on the desktop it just comes up with an icon of Not Connected. GOD DAMN MICROSOFT WINDOWS

Ps switchbitch I did not have a problem with it in the begining cuz my Kazaa was already installed before the syncstation but all of a sudden it's all gone pear shaped!

But of course we can not expect sonyericsson customer support to offer any help on the subject whatsoever.
My p900 now wont connect to my pc, im not doing a restore and im not reinstalling windows!
Its SE's responsibility to offer some sort of solution to this problem but they wont.
F**k you SE.
