I remember a topic on Esata a while ago that was about that developpers should write an application that places a small clock at the bottom of the fo screen so you don't have to tap the clock icon everytime you want to check what time it is.

Well it's out now available at my-symbian.com and it's called Timepane.

I'm happy this is available finally. I'm not really satisfied though. Because the clock is placed allmost entirely over the flip removed virtual keypad button.

I just want to let you guys know that it's available.

cheers

Thanks,
not a bad little app but it is a problem that it covers up & prevents u from pressing anything that appears in the centre of the status bar, e.g. the virtual keyboard icon on the P9

More of a catastrophic flaw than just a problem id say.

Well I've uninstalled it again anyway but I was never one that was so bothered about the time thing anyway.

Hmm the program seems to have problems displaying the right time....so it's not very usefull.

Now THAT is a catastrophic failure of an app that's only objective is to show the time!!

I didn't notice but how far different is it to the phones own time?

Just sounds like a fault of the app to me. It is a pretty simple thing so there's not much to do wrong!
As I said I've uninstalled it again so I can't try it. Maybe I'll d/load it again but maybe not.

yes you're right,it's a simple app. and there is not really anything l could do wrong. l also thought it was a fault.

Just uninstalled it. In this form it's not really usefull.

I'm guessing you're not gonna d/load it again!

Going to sleep now, l have an english exam in 6 hours....
