If you don't know what photoacute is go to photoacute.com
It is only available for nokia 60 series now, so I emailed them to see if a P900 version sould be released. this was what they sent me:
Dear Stephen,
Thank you for your interest in PhotoAcute!
We plan to release the version for P800 in 1 month.
P900 version will follow the P800 one soon.
Sincerely,
PhotoAcute Team
I've searched everywhere for reviews on the product but haven't found much. Those that I have found have been positive though. I know that it can only be used for still pictures because it somehow takes like 4 pictures and combines them. Guess we'll have to just wait and see how it is.

I have extensively testet it and ? I am not impresst. Is nowhere near a 1.2MP. As a matter of fact some picture looks better left alone. In real life most of the pics I take move around ,while you have some control on the subject the background it always be a problem resulting in 'non natural' pictures ! And on perfectly stills you must hold stil otherwise everything is 'out of focus' to say the list. Also the size of the resulting file is to big compared to the increase in quality. Yes you can touch it up afterwards a bit more/better then the 640x480 original but still is no 1.2MP

hmmm. well it appears to be a big improvement on the still pic. i guess you'll only be able to use it on certain occasions when the setting is right. still, those pics look much better than the original. much smoother lines. at least someone is trying to make the camera better! a little effort is always good.

Hmmm... looks less grainy is all, but photoshop does the same thing too. I guess it would be ok seeing that you can do it right on the phone instead.
