Hi, currently I have the Motorola A835 on the 3 network, and basiclly it is a really big brick! Although it has all the features you expect for a 3G phone, the network restricts most of them (e.g. GPRS). It is nothing better than an expensive paper weight.
I have had a couple of phones in the past, but I want another one, as I think I bought into the 3G market a bit early as alot of the technology is still new and has many glitches. Now could any of you guys recommend a nice phone with capability, obviously a camera and maybe interchangeable fascias.

Thanks in advance,

Ryan Humphreys.

What other requirements do u have?
Flip phone or not?
PDA capabilities?
WAV/MP3 capabilities?

Check the Phone Finder here on Esato & try narrow it down.

if you can afford it, get a p900. best phone i have ever bought. if you search around & are prepared to order over the internet you can get a really good price for it (i did this myself)

I have just bought the June issue of What Cell Phone and I was looking at the P900 and it is the best rated phone in there. (94%). But, the only downfall is the price, £200 - £250 on contract and £470 sim-free. I want a phone like a PDA, that can do a hell of alot. Is this phone worth the price though?

I´m sticking my neck out here.. but:
I didn´t like the P900 that much. I went for iPAQ 4150/T630 instead and got the best of both worlds IMO. HP4150+T630 will cost more than a P900 you might argue, yeah, but i get a handy size telephone and a 400Mhz PDA.. friend of mine went for the iPAQ 1940 and that one + his z600 cost less than a P900.
Might be worth thinking about?

well I have a P900 and an ipaq 4150/T630 combo and they each have their own good points and bad points

I generally have the P900 for 75% of my day but when I go out socialising I usually take the T630 on my belt or in a pocket and give the ipaq to my wife to go in her handbag

the ipaq also has wifi which the P900 doesn't and I still prefer pocket IE over Opera even though Opera is getting better all the time. oh, and I would miss avantgo if I didn't have the ipaq

you can get a P900 a lot cheaper that the "what cell phone" prices quoted. just look for ads on here or ebay (but only nearby ones that you can collect and check).

my choice would be P900 AND T630/ipaq combo (indeed it is!, but soon to be P900 and K700/ipaq combo)

btw, I do wish people wouldn't just say a phone name in threads like this. it leaves people none the wiser as to why the phone they mention is the one to go for and so they might just as well have not bothered

I still can't decide!!! Right, lets turn this post into "Which is the best phone, why and whats its best features". Maybe this will help me more in making my decision.
