i have wap acess on my p800 .and it does not support the 3rd party appa.i want to surf net on opera .can i make opera as my internal browser. i have made a font lucida handwriting for p800.the font rocks. anybody interested can reply in this forum. This message was posted from a WAP device

sure u can't do the first thing.
but what's the difference between 'lucida font handwrighting' and default font handwrighting - can u mane the difference coz it is not that obvious as u think. i managed to change the default system's font (see magic themes topic) but no handwrighting...

The only way I know of to make Opera the "default" browser is to use an application that has a (1) button manager and (2) autostarts. There is no means to remap the buttons via the OS, so you need some application to run interference...

An example of this is Tracker 4 - I currently use it to autostasrt and remap the buttons on my P800. One press on the blue button and I get Opera, which is probably what you use. I've also mapped to so that if I press and hold it, I can get another application to fire off (in my case, Agile Messenger).

But I've not seen the internal browser for months now. Yipee!
