This may or may not have been asked before, but im not sure what to search for.
I copied 44 contacts off of my sim card to the contacts app of the p800.
The filesize for contacts at this point was 70kb
I Edited the contacts so they were formatted correctly (firstname in correct field, etc. I didn't add anything new) and moved them into either the business or personal folder.
The filesize for contacts at this point was 500kb
Anybody have any idea why contacts is on the increase??? It even increased when i deleted some contacts off of my sim?!?!?!

Wrote contact number 45 from scratch and the whole folder compressed itself to 12kb.
Is this usual??

I don't know why that happens but SMan has a function called 'Compress Contacts', I guess this will compress them like that whenever u want it to.
