> imap p900 error

I have set up the imap on the phone using the provided messaging in the phone, but i get an error message along the lines of invalid message "to", "cc" & "bcc".
It seems to connect and everything then fails with that error message, I am connecting to a unix box (company mail server), I have tested the imap on the PC and it works fine, using the same settings on the phone aswell (cos these work), is this a problem with the version of imap we have on the unix box, or something else.

I presume you are trying to SEND email?
How are you connecting to the mail server? GPRS or direct through syncstation/cable/bt?
If you are using GPRS - you normally have to use your carriers SMTP server to send

OK, I just found out that only specified IP addresses can access our mapi server DOH!.
How does this work under gprs, is it static or dynamic, anyone got any ideas ?

under the settings for your internet apn data account you can specify an ip address.

does anyone know by any chance the IP range that OTE uses for GPRS in Greece ?
