Does anyone know where (the directory) all the beamed files are stored when are sent to the mobile phone?

Also does anyone know the destination of the directory in which all the SMS are stored?

Everything in messaging (SMS, MMS, E-mail & Beamed) can be found in C:\system\mail
Within this directory are a hell of a lot of files with letters & numbers for names which contain all the stuff but in no particular order as far as I can tell.

Have you tried PC File Manager. You can send the file to a specific folder via Bluetooth, even if it's on MS Duo card. Therefore a beamed file folder is not a middle stop. Only works if you're transfering files from a computer.

You should remember at least a part of the beamed file, and then search it with File Search

This is helpful when searching attachments from emails, but in a case of a beamed file...you don't have to search it, because you know where it is.

The problem was, that there's not enough internal memory to receive large beamed files by air (by bt or ir). So the only way is to use a cable connection.

The possibility to choose a destination from the memorystick would, according to some people, lead to problems. That is when the ms is not in the Px00 when receiving a beamed file. In that case a beamed file would go to the internal memory. Next time, when you put the ms back in your Px00, you aren't anymore able to find older beamed files from the ms, because the default beamed folder has changed to internal memory.

Using fileman:

-->system
-->mail
0
1
2
3
4
5

9
a
b
c

f
look upon every numbered file, lettered file and subfolders.
Hint: check out the file extension names (the type of file you are looking for) for faster browsing.
EX. a previously beamed picture should have it's type file .jpg
a contact file at .vcf
or a sound file at .wav and so on

hope this helps!

There is no way of redirecting the beamed files to any folder. I wish there was too.

Don't search there. All beamed files are here:

Yes, there is. Once a beamed file can be found from the beamed folder of the message app, then you just tick it. After that you can save it ALSO to external memory (and after saving you can empty the beamed folder)!
