> T68i on Virgin big problems
Bookmark topic
Has anyone else had this fault, my brother has a T68i on virgin net and is now on his third handset. The problem is this the phones start off ok but over a period of say 2 to 4 days generally (his last handset lasted about a month) they gradually refuse to get a signal or a connection! His latest phone stopped getting a connection 1 hour after leaving the virgin store and he is now back to using a three year old Sagem which with the same sim card installed connects perfectly every time! I hate to see a SE phone (T68i) which I still have and enjoy, getting a bad rep and my poor brother is going mad. We originally thought it was due to a cheap Handsfree kit in his car but we cut the juice to it about two months ago so it cannot be that. He lives in the Dewsbury West Yorks area. Can anyone help or offer advice please.

I just noticed that with my T68i, as compared with my Nokia 3530, the signal of my SE unit is quite weaker than the Nokia one

Recently I was far from urban area and my T68i showed the GSM-signal 1 bar. Then I received call. And even the signal strength dropped for moments to 0 (zero), I was able to talk. Yes, for seconds the speech was a bit fragmentary, but it is normal under that kind conditions.
My T68i is not new, at the end of this month it has a little birthday - 2 years
PS. I live in Estonia and I am the client of EMT.

I remember that was discussed before. The transmitter problem is quite a common issue with t68 :-(
