> Calendar on P900

Hi,
I have been battling with finding a calendar application for my P900 for almost 7 months now. I like some of the features of the pre-installed calendar but then others are missing. This is what I have tried so far:
1. Handyday2004
Excellent but missing a month view and some of the look of Tracker
2. Tracker 4.0
Good but calendar doesn't refresh if something is added outside of Tracker and it can be slow. Plus I don't like the way its trying to superceed all of the P900 applications, almost as if its a new OS.
3. Aquacalendar
Tried this and while it was good the screens I didn't think were designed well and the lack of jog dial for paging through the dates annoyed me.
4. Agendus 2.0
Too many bugs and lack of integration with already set-up appointments.
5. Daybook+
Very nice but way too slow and having Appforge booster installed worries me as there are so many bugs.
So I'm left looking for a decent calendar application. As I said before Handyday2004 would be excellent if it had more of a look of Tracker (graphics etc.) and a month view. I like the way it sits on top of the P900 utilities without you actually losing them from view (i.e. the shortcuts are still available at the top and bottom of the screen).
Does anyone have information on any other Calendar applications that I could try. I am thinking of using Activedesk and a calendar application and this should give me everything I want. Any help would be appreciated.
M.

Some good observations mwlatty, thanks. I'm in a simliar position and haven't tried out the apps you named so it was good to get some user feed back on how they work. I was going to go with Tracker4 or HandyDay mostly from recommendation so if you find something that you feel superceeds them please let me know.

Batesie, I'm the same as you. I like Handy day but there are things in Tracker which I really like too especially its look. At the moment I am using Handy desktop and linking to the P900 standard calendar and tasks. Handy desktop is brilliant as it allows you to link to lots of applications with ease, I was very surprised to see that the desktop in Handyday2004 was not the same as this. If they would put Handy desk inside Handyday it would improve things.
So for now I'll stick with Handydesk, keymapper and the standard P900 calendar. Thanks for the info.

Handy day does have a month vie of sorts. Just click on todays date and up pops a month view calander.

Yes but that's just to allow you to select the date you want to display, it doesn't show you tasks or appointments you have assigned to those dates. I mean a month view like the one in the standard P900 calendar application or in Aquacalendar.

Interesting
What version of AquaCalendar have you tried??
It has full jog dial functions since 1.5.
check
www.aquawell.ru/manual
The 1.5 is good. The 2.0 will rock!

I agree with you however my choice has come out differently. I have done the same comparisons as you but think the outcome is Handyday 2004,Handy Dates, keymapper and the standard P900 calendar.
Handy Dates is a pain but there isn't a proper alternative. Keymapper is excellent. The p900 calendar is for the month view.
Its a pain there isn't an holistic calendar package.
cheers

try this link, near the end of the page to test new version of aquacalendar, beta but almost finished though, with full jog dial support and many more
