Hi,

just got my phone back, a P800 from a service centre after getting the firmware upgraded..

and found that the reception is REALLY bad and when i call ppl they find it really hard to hear me ..

also the job dial just doesn't work unlesss i roll it like 10 times, then it might register one of the turns

not 100% sure if it was cos i sent it away or how it was, as it's 2nd hand and i only had it for a couple of days before that ...

is this a common problem, called the service centre again and they have offered to see if they can fix it, quite annoying though as it would mean i've only have it for like 3 days so far !

Try phoning service centre tell them damaged in post, they may offer to fix it under some kind of insurance.
They must insure goods against carrier damage or loss I'd have thought.

thanks, yeah i'm going to post it back to them 'again' first thing monday...

pretty annoying using the phone for a day and now i might be without it for about a month !!!

better get it fixed soon though, was told i get an extra 60 or 90 days warrenty b/c i recently got the firmware upgraded, which is good news.

oh just remembered, if i backup everything using the SE software, and then restore it, would it be as if i had it then, even if they do a master reset ?
