> T610 hissing repair info

Hello,
I'm after a bit of help. I have a hissing T610 which I am trying to get fixed before my warranty runs out on 30/5/04.
The problem is that SonyEricsson have changed both their call centre and repair centre (now Hays Technology) recently in the UK, and neither appear to have heard of the problem before.
I sent my phone to Hays and it has returned still hissing.
I know that it is a hardware problem, and I searching the forums there is mention of replacing 4 resistors.
Does anyone have any more specific info about the fix?
All help appreciated. Thanks.

I would say that you in back TO hay's tech and ask for a replacement. Otherwise sue them. I am not joking. As a consumer you have rights.

The hissin problem occured in T610's which were manufactured before week 23 in the T610's production line. You can send your phone back to SE for repairs, or claim a new phone from the place you purchased it from if you have your receipt.
By law, the shop you bought the phone from has to replace your phone as its part of a faulty batch that SE recalled. Just go in and demand a replacement, even if they say they wont, tell them its the law. A shop once tried telling me i couldnt have a refund because of their ' no refunds ' sign. They quickly gave me my money back when i got on my phone to the operator and asked to be put through to trading standards.
