Hi,
Anybody in here have any idea what could be the problem with my phone. It vibrates constantly whilst its off, and sometimes for no reason when it's on. I've sent it off to the repair centre and it came back with the same problem. So, im not sure whether to take matters into my own hands now. But there again, there's nothing repairable yourself. So, any idea's why it would do that?
Many thanks

Been there tried that. They're all idiots. The people I bought the phone from never reply to emails. You ring them and the person i need to speak to "isn't here".
Really peeing me off, so i've come to the conclusin that No Vibrate is better than constant vibrate. So, bye bye motor!

AFAIK vibration motor is on the battery, right?
Maybe if you use another battery you can narrow your problem...
If it still vibrates, uograde firmware or something, if not, the battery was faulty.

this problem normally arises when water damage occurs, i suggest getting the phone replaced.

It's not the battery, i've tried another battery in it. Same Problem.
The repair centre upraded the firmware for me and it stopped doing it for about 24 hours, then it just reappeared.
Can't see it being water damage, only had the phone for about 4 months and I can't see any signs of water damage (Not that i've looked)
It's a weird problem, I can only seem to think that it's a software problem, because not much else controls the vibration. I imagine the software just transfers the current over to the motor when you get a phone call and cuts it off when there's no phone call. But whatever it is, it came back after 24 hours. Which is weird.
