me and a few people here has noticed that after the firmware upgrade, the operator logo seems to be stuck--I am a T mobile user, and when I first got my phone, the phone says T-mobile when it boots up. But after the firmware upgrade, the logo now is stuck at cingular, even though I can access my voicemail and Tmobile customer service just fine.
my only concern of the whole deal is I won't know when I am roaming or not...anyone has any idea?
btw I've already tried going to the GSM network option and choose my own network...but nothing but cingular comes up (ATT will also show up but even if I choose it when I close the flip it is still cingular.)

Hi,
I'm also having the same problem and my T-Mobile service shows a Cingular operator logo. I think the only way to fix this is to wait for the next release...which is not really a fix. Any thoughts? I honestly don't understand how the SE programmers could have screwed this one up.

I have the exact same problem. T-Mobile is my carrier and until the firmware upgrade, I would see their name at the top. Now I only see Cingular and when I search for networks, I only see Cingular and sometimes AT&T.
Have you been able to figure out what happened and how to fix the problem?
Thanks.
