I had a nokia 3650 and one of the things I like about symbian OS is that software can switch you between profiles based on your calendar event so you don't have to worry about having the phone rings in a meeting. Is there a similiar software for Px00?

The Symbian UIQ, the OS distribution that the Px00 uses, is not equipped with a profiles system. That sucks ass. Hope they can resolve this issue soon.

thanks for the reply. But even if UIQ does not use a profile system, does an application have access to the phone setting so that it can toggle certain function (silent in this case) on/off? any coder here can give us some insight? thanks

when you are in flip closed mode just press continuously -c- for more than 1sec. this will activate silent mode but i don't know yet how you can turn vibration on/off when in f.c. mode

The application MiniGPS provides a kind of profile-management.
But its based on your location on the globe.
I have tested it for a while but not exapmined how detailed the "cells" are.
