Hello! I just bought my P900 last week and I'm loving it!
I've noticed that there are several ways of doing certain tasks like calling, Txt messaging, etc...
What are some fast ways to do a task? Like calling or text messaging someone from the flip closed and locked. Is there a much better and easier way to do certain functions?

useing the jog dial is the easiest flip closed,just pull it towards the front of the phone and then scroll down for keylock etc options,turn it down 1 click for apps list,click it in the way to go straight to a contacts list and scroll n click on the name to call.

You can change your application shortcuts in the control menu. I like the to have the text in the middle as it's easier to send a sms
