Yes its true... just opend my dear p8 and compared to this :

but Maybe i will need to change the antenna and browser/cam button... we´ll see... i will definitly also need to fiddle a little with a file in the PCB...
I will begin this project within a month, when my examins are well over
Plus: Were to buy white smd leds in europe, where i can pay wiht visa... I want to change the keyboard light in one of my phones from my huge Se collection: z200

true... it WILL work.. trust me... i know what i´m doing... unless the p8 screen is thicker than the one found on p9. personally, i dont think its the case...
